24th March 2006

Dear Sir,

I congratulate you on completion of 50 years of the All India Carrom Federation. The Federation celebrated its Golden Anniversary and launched year long Golden Jubilee Celebration in an effervescent function held on the evening of 4th March 2006 at ' The Crystal', Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. A brief report on the Golden Jubilee Celebration and the Undo-Sri Lanka Test Series is enclosed.

It is a happy co-incidence that my tenure of office as General Secretary of the All India Carrom Federation has synchronized with the Golden Jubilee of the Federation. It gave me an opportunity to receive you with utmost humility, affection and regard, for the Golden Jubilee Celebration at Delhi.

You all have been very gracious to make it convenient to join us on this great momentous occasion, when we gathered to commemorate and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of All India Carrom Federation. I am appreciative of the efforts you had taken to be with us on that evening and I express my sincere gratitude for the same. It was both a privilege and a pleasure to have your presence at the function.

For if a jubilee becomes a moment to define an age, then for me we must speak of change - it's breadth and acceleration pace over these years. Change has become a content; managing it has become an expanding discipline. The way we embrace it defines our future.

The growth and development of the Federation towards its prophetic destiny were clearly evident to all of us who were privileged to have been a part of the Federation in year past. You all have made us proud and the ongoing fulfillment of the prophecies will continue to be a joy to behold.

I would like to express my pride in our past and my confidence in our future. I would like above all to declare my resolve to continue to work for the promotion of carrom, with support of my colleagues, to the best of my ability through the changing times ahead.

With regards,
Yours sincerely,
